The 11th Encontro Nacional de Cromatografia (11ENC) is the only national symposium that focuses on pressure and electrodriven microcolumn separations and related techniques. The symposium is organized by Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia/Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and will be held December 9 - 11, 2019 in Hotel Aldeia dos Capuchos, Congress Centre, Caparica, Portugal.
This year marks the 20 th anniversary of the ENC meetings, associating for this reason the University of Lisbon and the University of Évora, which were also co-promoters of the first meeting.
The program includes plenary lectures, oral presentations by young scientists, prominently featured poster presentations and an instrument exhibition displaying the latest instrumental innovations. A social program, offering opportunities to meet with national and international-renown scientists is also planned.
Particular emphasis will be directed to High Resolution Separation Technologies, either on 1D and 2D, using various forms of Detection and, evidently, Mass Spectrometry from unit-mass to high resolution and from single to hybrid mass analyzers. Sample Preparation Methods for chromatographic analysis are also meeting targets. Researchers in all areas relevant to the subjects of the meeting are invited to submit abstracts. As usual for ENC meetings, the majority of presentations will be in poster format and the scientific committee will select contributions for oral presentation.
From the presentations in poster format, several will be selected for a 3 minute flash oral presentation, targeting PhD. and Msc. Students.
Exhibitors and sponsors are encouraged to participate by reserving booth space, and becoming a sponsor.
