Costa da Caparica and surrounding area offer to those visiting the city an extraordinary diversity of accommodation possibilities, which can be easily found here.
Caparica is 20 km from Lisbon, on the left bank of the Tejo river on the Atlantic coast.
There are several international direct flights to Humberto Delgado Airport (Lisbon International Airport - airport code LIS). At the airport, taxis, bus and subway connections to Costa da Caparica are available:
By subway: At the airport there is a station with connection to the city center. This Airport-Saldanha route takes about 20 minutes and has connections to other lines that can reach the conference venue at
Costa da Caparica.
By train: Directly at the airport, 10 minutes from the subway (stop at Oriente station) and a little more by bus (Nº 208, Nº 705, Nº 744), it has direct connection to Gare do Oriente, the main train station
of Lisbon, where you can find trains with connection to Costa da Caparica/Almada.
By bus: There are several buses that stop at the arrival’s terminal 1 at Humberto Delgado Airport. There is an established maximum size for luggage (50x40x20cm), so for larger luggage airport-specific buses (such
as the Aerobus or Airport Shuttle) are available.
TAP Portugal, as the Official Carrier of the 11ENC, offers a discount to the participants who book their flight and buy their ticket exclusively through TAP Portugal’s website.
Additional information concerning the conditions and the required code to proceed further with your booking can be downloaded here.
